Litter Announcement

We expect our first sheltie litter! I have been a sheltie nerd for several years already, studying lines, dogs and health results of Shelties all over the world. I know that every line has it’s fault and that the perfect Sheltie doesn’t exist. Finding the right male for Kairi wasn’t easy but I think I came to my ideal as close as it can get. Antheo is a grandson of Shawnee of Summergarden, well-known in the agility world for his explosive and high-drive offspring. Antheo is from Italian “working lines”, meaning that many individuals have proven good working capacity (as real working lines doesn’t exist in Shelties). Some years ago, I fell in love with his aunt Bet from Marco Giavoni, who is a daughter of Shawnee. And there is also Cika from Akuna x Anip, a small sable bitch with tons of potential. Theo’s father Anip has produced a lot of good Shelties, like Meryl of Pavol Vakonic or Lolita of Giulia Zurma. When meeting Theo, it was like a match made in heaven. He really is the male version of Kairi, being superfriendly to strangers and jumping into the air when excited. He has an athletic body and a flat running style. But the most important thing are his flawless health results. He is x-rayed free for hips, elbows and is genetically free for the relevant Sheltie diseases. Thank you so much Saverio and Silvia for making this combination possible and to Kairi’s breeder Tamara for always being there for us.
